About a mile inland from the harbour, tucked into a secluded valley in a romantic setting, stands the mother church of Boscastle. It is a remarkable setting for a church. In spring time especially the churchyard, which is a controlled (SSSI) wildlife habitat, is particularly fine with the yellow daffodils giving way to the white aconites and aromatic wild garlic.
