Soup & Sweet will be served between 12noon and 1.30pm.

The cost of the lunch will be £5 with all proceeds being divided between Otterham Church, Forrabury Church and Cornwall Hospice Care.

We look forward to seeing you but if you are too busy to come your donation would still be much appreciated.

 

 

Annual Parochial Church Meeting

Tuesday 20th  March 2012

Boscastle Village Hall at 7.00pm

Come for a glass of wine and cheese and biscuits and find out what yoor church has been doing over the past year.  Also this is the m time when new church wardens are appointed.  All are welcome to attend and any on the church electoral role are entitled to vote.

 

 

Auction

Saturday 12 May 2012

Boscastle Village Hall  viewing from 10.00am and auction starts at midday

Bring unwanted items, present etc down to the hall to be auctioned off. 

Lots sold either on a 50/50 basis or all proceeds going to the maintanance and upkeep of Forrabury and Minster church buildings

 

 

Open Gardens

Saturday 9 and 10 June 2012      2.00pm to 4.00pm

Top of Village around Paradise Road and Green Lane

Come and enjoy the summer flowers and growing vegitables in a number of garden along Paradise Road, Green Land and Forrabury Hill.  Tea and coffee with light refreshments will also be available.  Find out how many people have a railway running through their garden!!!!

All proceeds going towards the upkeep and running of the church here in Boscastle.

 

 

Harbour Happenings

Valency Lawn, The Harbour, Boscastle

The day starts with a sung open air eucharist on the lawn.  After this we start the fete with bar-b-que teas entertainment and many side stalls.  The day finishes with a Songs of Praise lead by the St Genny's silver band with the collection being donated to the RNLI.  Last year the program for the day was as follows:

10.30 Sung Eucharist                                                                                        

 

11.30 Fete starts                       

        1.00  Family dog show starts.

          1.30  Punch and Judy with Prof. Goodvibes.

          2.30  St Geny’s silver Band.

          3.30  Prize draw drawn.                         

4.15  Songs of Praise by inner harbour arm

Although the program for 2011 has not yet been finalised it is likely to follow a similar pattern.

 

 

Safari Supper

Friday 21 September 2012   7.00pm

In and around Boscastle village

Meet together at the village hall for a glass of sherry or fruit juice where you will be told where to go for your starter.  After this it will be a mystery tour of the village visiting different homes for your main course, sweet and finally cheese and coffee.

Price yet to be determined!!!

In the church there will be a display on theme of autumn and harvest.

 

 

A Hobby Horse Racing Supper

Friday 17 November 2012 in the Village Hall

Time 7.00pm for 7.30pm

Come and share a hot supper together in the village hall and then win your entrance money by betting on your favourite horse and rider after the meal.  Also see which lady has the most remarkable race meeting hat.  All proceeds going towards the running and upkeep of Forrabury and Minster Church.
